German Cruise Ship Makes Second Stop in Milwaukee
German cruise ship MS Hamburg will drop anchor in the city once again on Sunday, October 19th.
MILWAUKEE— (October 17, 2014)— After its first stop in Milwaukee on October 10th, German cruise ship MS Hamburg will drop anchor in the city once again on Sunday, October 19th.
Weighing in at almost 15,000 tons, the MS Hamburg was built in Germany in 1997 and accommodates 400 guests. The 16-night Great Lakes cruise sets sail in Montreal and goes on to Toronto, the Welland Canal/Niagara, Chicago, Milwaukee, Traverse City, Mackinac Island, Kingston and returns to Montreal.
Local tours organized by Milwaukee Food and City Tours include full-day and half-day bus trips touring the sights, some offering step-offs at attractions such as the Milwaukee Art Museum, Harley-Davidson Museum, City Hall, Mader’s and Old World Third Street, Pabst Mansion, Lakefront Brewery, Best Place, the Milwaukee Public Market and more.
