A straight up rock ‘n’ roll band in every sense of the word, Milwaukee’s Mortgage Freeman have been writing music and developing their sound for the last few years. Cream City Soundcheck caught up with the band at their home practice spot, a gig at Y NOT III and a good old-fashioned Wisconsin fish fry for a little bit of talkin’ and rockin’.

On September 13 (mark your calendars now) TCD, docUWM, Peck School of the Arts and the Pabst Group will host a Cream City Soundcheck launch party at Turner Hall Ballroom. The event will feature live performances from RAS Movement (feat. Naima Adedapo), The Fatty Acids, and Kane Place Record Club.
